Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions before you book? Below are answers to the most common questions we get
about camper rentals, booking, delivery, and policies. If you don’t see your question here, feel
free to contact us directly.

You choose your dates, fill out the online form, and place a deposit to reserve. We confirm your booking, deliver the camper to your site, set it up, and return to pick it up after your trip.

We typically require a two-night minimum rental. During peak seasons or holidays, the minimum may be longer.

Yes. Delivery and full setup are included with every rental. We handle leveling, hookups, and walk-throughs so your camper is ready when you arrive.

Campers include air conditioning, heating, a kitchen or kitchenette, beds, and bathroom facilities in most units. Some models have slide-outs, outdoor kitchens, and larger dining areas. Check listing for details.

None. We deliver and pick up the camper for you. No towing is required from your side.

We have a dog friendly pet policy! There is a one-time $50 fee. If you choose to bring a dog(s) linens, towels and pillows will NOT be included with your rental. All of these items are the responsibility of the renter.

Non-canine animals, (to include “emotional support” animals), are NOT allowed inside our rental units. If it has been discovered that a non-canine animal has been inside your rental unit (i.e. cat hair, feathers, scales, cat litter, etc.) there will be a $250.00 Pet cleaning fee subtracted from the customer’s security deposit on file and you will not be allowed to rent with us again in the future.

Please use your best judgement when determining if your canine will be a good traveling partner, well-behaved in a campground setting and respectful of the RV. Any interior damage to the camper will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

Dogs are NOT allowed on any furniture in the RV. Dogs staying in our RVs must have regular flea/tick treatments. If any fleas/ticks are found in the RV after your rental, pest control treatment will come out of your security deposit.

The security deposit is due 2 days before pick-up and will be released 7 days or less after your reservation ends pending no issues.

  • Towable Trailers have a $500 security deposit

The security deposit will be held on your credit card, once the RV is returned in acceptable condition and inspected the full deposit will be released. This security deposit covers the costs in the event there are missing or damaged items to the inside or the outside of the RV during the rental.

From approximately December through March our RVs are unavailable for rental due to temperatures and yearly scheduled maintenance. Please contact us to discuss exceptions at support@cdcamperrentals.net

We do our best to get you the “Out-the-door” pricing during the reservation process.  Many people are able to rent without incurring any extra fees.  Here are a few things you can do to save on those fees:

  • Clean the interior
  • If the propane tank is below 20%, please refill the tank.  We will use the Departure and Return levels to determine your actual use and will credit / debit accordingly.  Propane is charged BASED ON USE on every reservation.  If you fill the tank, we credit you money back for filling.  If WE fill the tank, then we charge you based on your actual usage readings.
  • Dump your own waste tanks – our staff is amazing but we do not have a waste facility on hand.  It’s best to empty these prior to returning the RV.
  • Bring your own linens OR use ours, wash, fold and store them

You can always prepay for the services like the cleaning or linens ahead of time if you want to take advantage of them.  We also have optional Rental Upgrades, like renting bike and kayak racks.

If you are camping we encourage you to make a campsite reservation as soon as possible as State Parks fill up quickly. We do not make recommendations, reservations or include any campsite fees in our rental reservation.

Occupants are to never exceed RV sleeping capacity. If a unit sleeps 6 that is the maximum number of guests at any given time.
